Waves, Markets, Spice & Spas
This is Morocco, SALTY style— sweat-soaked, invigorating, and packed with adventure. From the beautiful energy of Agadir to the laid-back beaches of Taghazout, every day is designed to keep you moving and having the time of your life. Think sunrise sweats, rooftop yoga, and pro-led surf sessions where wiping out is half the fun. Off the board, you’ll dive into hidden swimming holes, sandboard down desert dunes, and barter your way through vibrant souks. And when the sun sets? Beachside BBQs, rooftop feasts, and some late night dancing.
This trip is all about immersing yourself fully. You’ll eat the best food, work your body in new and fun ways, and challenge yourself in ways that feel as rewarding as they do exhilarating. Whether you’re paddling into your first surf break, sweating it out under the Moroccan sun, or laughing over fresh seafood by the harbour, one thing’s for sure—you may leave Morocco, but these memories will never leave you.

The SALTY Meter is our vibe compass—a quick snapshot of what to expect on each retreat. It captures the energy and experience of the trip based on group size, accommodation style, local culture, and the blend of movement, adventure, and downtime we’ve got planned.
Group Size – How many people you’ll be sharing the experience with (1 = 6 guests, 10 = 60+) | Party – The level of nightlife, dancing, and evening energy. | Culture – How immersed you’ll be in local traditions, food, and community. | Rest – The amount of downtime, relaxation, and quiet moments built in. | Sweat Level – How intense and frequent the workouts will be. | Adventure – The dose of excursions, exploration, and off-the-beaten-path moments.

Nate joined the SALTY team when he decided to hang up his cleats after an 8-year career as a player in the CFL.
A passionate host and self-proclaimed energizer-bunny, all he wants is for people to have the best time of their lives… wherever they are.

Canadian Decathlete, your mom’s favourite bartender, and our bestfriend. Telvin brings sport training, incredible dance moves, and a nauseously positive attitude to everything he does.
josh
towell
Josh has been teaching for 15+ years, but he spends as much time rapping Kanye lyrics in his flows as he does dictating what to do - he is the quintessential bridge for folks to experience wellness in a way that works for everybody. He’s also the funniest person you haven’t met yet.

Moroccan cuisine is flavorful, fresh, and diverse—think tagines, grilled veggies, couscous, and vibrant spices. We ensure that all dietary needs are accommodated, whether you’re vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or have specific allergies. Just let us know in advance, and we’ll make sure you’re covered!
-
Many places accept credit cards, but cash is king in souks, smaller shops, and local restaurants. ATMs are widely available, and we recommend withdrawing some Moroccan Dirhams (MAD) when you arrive. Tipping is also common—small amounts go a long way in showing appreciation!
-
Expect sunny days and cooler nights. In Marrakesh, temperatures can be warm, but if we venture into the desert or mountains, evenings can get chilly. Layers are your best friend!
-
100% yes! Our travelers range in age, but what really matters is the shared love for fun, movement, and adventure. You’ll be surrounded by like-minded people who are here for the same reason—to have an unforgettable experience.

Absolutely! Arriving early is a great way to ease into your trip. Airport hotels are a solid option to break up travel, and our airport shuttles will pick you up on the morning the festivities begin.
