A retreat that flows between the coast and the clouds
Island Tides is our most dynamic SALTY retreat yet. You'll spend the first half of the trip on Sri Lanka's southern coast in Ahangama—daily beach workouts, surf sessions with local coaches, and ocean sweat under palm trees. Then we head inland to Ella, a mountain village wrapped in tea plantations and mist, where the vibe shifts from surf energy to quiet hikes and cool mornings.

Daily Itinerary

Arrive, meet your crew, and settle into your beachside villa. We’ll gather for a family-style dinner and get to know our new friends.

Our first full day kicks off with morning movement and a celebratory welcome party under the palms.

Strength + sweat on the beach, afternoon chill, and another movement class to bring the group together.

Your first surf session, guided by local coaches. In the evening, a slow SALTY flow and a delicious dinner.

Catch waves in the morning, then explore Galle Fort in the afternoon; shopping, history, and a sunset walk on the walls.

Workout, chill, and then we end our time in Ahangama with a proper night out.

Surf lessons are completely optional. While some guests surf, others use that time for beach walks, yoga, spa treatments, or exploring Ahangama's cafes and shops. Our coaches also offer alternative beach workouts and guided hikes. You'll never feel left out—there's always something happening.
