About the Retreat

Paradise Found II is SALTY in perfect balance. We're booking into Orquidea del Sur — a 5-star villa property in the hills above San Juan del Sur, with three buildings, three infinity pools overlooking the Pacific and the surf breaks below, two on-site bars, pool tables, and enough lounge and social space that a group of this size can celebrate and find relaxation in equal parts. Everything you need, nothing you don't.

The sweat is the upgrade. We're able to dial up the sweat — daily Morning Crew or yoga at sunrise on the unbeatable yoga deck, SALTY Sweats before lunch, a SALTY Olympics day, and a Finale workout on Friday that'll be the hardest, loudest, last one of the week. Access to the world-class shala, poolside pilates, fitness room with weights and squat racks, and of course a sprawling sandy beach means we can workout in fun new ways every session.

The party is there for those who want it. Sunday Funday lands on Day 2 — San Juan del Sur's legendary day-to-night circuit, shuttle between stops, an absolute blast that you can hop-in or hop-out of as you wish! Through the week there will be the chance to surf, to read by any of the pools, to book massages, bedtime yin yoga, relax into paradise. Friday is all on the catamaran: full afternoon on the Pacific, swim stops, cold drinks, sunset over the water, then The Last Splash pool party back at ours.

25–30 guests. Enough to share in each other's energy when it's time to turn up the fun, small enough that by Day 3 everyone knows everyone's story. Come for the sunsets, leave with a buzzing group chat and memories to spare.

The Verdict

Everything you need to plan your trip.

Sweat 9 on the SALTY Meter — this is the most physically intense retreat in our lineup. Morning Crew at sunrise, SALTY Sweats before lunch, a Finale workout on Friday. Everything is scalable, so you can dial any session up or down, but the programming leans hard. Bring the effort you want to bring. Zero pressure to hit every session.

Nope. Every SALTY activity is optional. Sunday Funday is a loud, social pool-party circuit — most guests go, some stay back at the villa. Zero pressure either way. If you do go: hydrate early, pace yourself, and pack a backup swimsuit.

San Juan del Sur has beginner-friendly breaks right on the main beach, plus intermediate options (Playa Maderas, Playa Hermosa) a short drive away. Your included surf lesson is geared to all levels. First-time surfers and repeat surfers both have a good week here.

Yes — the town is a long-established surf and travel destination with steady tourism. Standard travel common sense applies (watch valuables, use registered taxis at night), and the villa is in a quieter hillside area above town. We'll share practical safety tips in your pre-trip docs.

Most passports (including Canadian, American, and most European) don't need a visa for short stays. Check your country's specifics before booking. Note you can fly into either Managua (MGA) or Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR) — Liberia is often the easier and cheaper route.
