Runner on the beach during a SALTY race week

The Run Barbados Marathon Weekend is the island's flagship running festival — a multi-day, multi-distance event that turns the south coast into a party with a finish line.

The course sweeps past Bridgetown's historic waterfront and runs right along the edge of the Caribbean. Pick your distance and we'll have your bib locked in before you land.

Run it for the story, not the PR.

Find Your Distance

Which one are you?

Pick your bib — or skip it entirely. There's a version of this week for everyone.

About the Retreat

We've always built trips around fun. This one keeps the fun and gives you something to chase: a real race in the middle of a real week away — bookended by training, surrounded by great people, and celebrating that finish line the way it deserves.

The first half of the week is purposeful — shakeout runs, restorative yoga, sleep, carb load. Once race weekend ends, the fun gets louder: four days of flushing the legs, getting your feet in the sand, eating like a champion, and remembering our favourite three-letter word.

New runner, seasoned marathoner, or the friend who came to cheer and sip — this week works for everyone. SALTY has one rule, and one rule only: everything is optional, except for fun.

Questions? Answers.

Everything you need to plan your trip.

Not at all. Pick your distance — 5K, 10K, half or full — or skip the race entirely and be our loudest cheer squad. Everything is optional except fun.

Perfect — first-timers are exactly who this trip is for. Brant builds you a personalized plan the moment you register, and your SALTY coaches keep you moving once you're on the island.

When you book, you get a personalized plan on TrainingPeaks from Brant Stachel. Drop in your race date and a recent result, and it shapes your paces around your current fitness — so whether you’re chasing a PR or a first finish, you arrive ready for your distance. It’s yours to run on your own schedule, start to start line.

Please do. Non-runners get the full SALTY menu — yoga, beach workouts, surf, excursions — while their runner tapers, and they make the best finish-line crew.

Yes. A guaranteed bib in your chosen distance is included in every pricing tier.

Fly into Grantley Adams International (BGI) — direct from Toronto, New York, Miami and Charlotte. Group airport transfers to Paradise Point are included.

Early-bird rates hold until July 19, 2026. A $350 deposit holds your spot, with two flexible payment dates after that; the full balance is due 45 days before departure. Deposits are non-refundable.

Barbados is Strides No. 001 — the first of many. Four more race retreats are lined up for 2027 (Rio, Medellín, Mallorca, Athens). Join a waitlist and we'll email you the second dates and bibs go live.
